Where are the tastings? I used to have a glass of wine at Cohen and Cooke on Thursday afternoons in the Lounge (very funky and quiet on Thursdays).
Stimmel's Market on W. Wooster (almost to Wintergarden). Have you been? It's a really nice little gourmet grocery-deli-bakery hybrid. For its size it's got outstanding wine and beer selections. And it's right across the street from my neighborhood. Woohoo!
Haven't been to C & C yet, but I hear good things about both the food and the drinks.
LOVED Stimmels. Only place I could find good Oregon wine. If you go to C&C for dinner, give yourself plenty of time. Everything is fresh and takes time to make. Freshest seafood in NW Ohio too.
